Life Is Hysterical Even While Awful

I began to show my wear and tear, working even though I didn't have to, knowing that I would just sit at home and do nothing if I didn't. By the end of that day, I had lost all the impetus that I had gathered and just went to sleep. I woke; the feeling persisted. I stumbled through the day, forcing myself to go through the motions I had planned, and then there you were. Not you but you, my mad little persian sister, running yourself ragged with particle physics and development theory. Things don't change, and the joy your sameness brought me was, and is, difficult to express.

And then you got on the train, and you got off. I didn't notice, and I was thinking about how I missed when you would affectionately tug on my hair or hood and then... you did. I practically jumped out of my skin, the moment was so eerie. The words that followed don't matter much.

I was right, it would either last forever or end at any moment. Perhaps, knowing me, both are true now.
