The 48 hours... of doom! (Crüxshadows & Nobilis)
This was the busiest weekend I've had in a long time. I totally feel like I've been raving. Weird...
Ok, so Friday night was FUCKING AWESOME! I went to the Pic Pub and got decently drunk with Rick, Marcella, Travis, Erin, and Jane. The Crüxshadows put on an astoundingly good show that proved to all the little goth haters that they are the best goth band around these days. It's really too bad that nobody promoted their show, and they had less than 100 people arrive. It really hurts their chances of coming back here, but at least it looked like virtually no one left without buying a CD. I'm still totally blown away, and want to stick my tongue out at all of you that missed it: It was so worth every penny of the 12 bucks I paid for it. Now I've just got to wait for next Dragon*Con so I can see them again.
So, on to Saturday. After getting virtually no sleep, and waking up late, I ran Nobilis today. What a day! First off, the session was entitled "A Day Without Rain," and we had a thunder and hailstorm open up our game. Talk about sweet! The event went of spectacularly, although my head almost exploded under the pressure of amount of stuff. I am so glad that I wasn't playing a character that game. Almost everyone showed up, too. Now I just need to sit down and piece together the labyrinthine insanity of the session's repercussions. W00t.
Now I sleep, then I Tea. This week shouldn't be too bad. I only have one midterm, on Friday, before my weekend of Halloween Party HELL!!!
PS: Health has rated a resounding B- for the last few days. That's better than it's been since August. Hooray!!
