Namasté

Finally back at home after a nice, relaxing, recreational day. I have a cat on my shoulder, and I'm listening to Dead Can Dance.

I'm feeling very eastern today. Rick, Derek, and I went to East is East for lunch/dinner, and then proceeded to walk around Kitsilano for about 2 hours. We went to Banyan books, and talked about Yoga and Daoism. I bought a beautiful translation of the Bhagavad Gita, and Rick picked up Ursula LeGuin's Tao Te Ching.

The day wasn't a total productive bust, either. I got a bunch of school-related e-mails sent out, booked rooms for the Cam at Douglas, and I'm about to clean my living room up a bit.

Tomorrow is Beltane ritual writing day, and I'm psyched. Wednesday is swimming day, as well as going to see a play in Richmond. Thursday is letter-writing and Wrapped in Gray. Friday, my final 3 days of Vacation before school begins. It's nice to feel like I'm doing stuff, but not by any means overwhelmed.

Ah... life is good.
