Sleep & Dreams
Havok with my sleep this past week. Somehow, I managed to get into a Noon-8pm schedule that put me into completely disfunctional territory regarding school (I missed 3/4 classes, though I got my assignment done and made it to my test). I did end up playing a lot of World of Warcraft and drinking prodigious amounts of Tea – much of which smelled like a campfire of White Fir – so it could have been worse.
I had the strangest dream the other night:
I was part of some sort of 'Citizen's Assembly' group, except with the ability to actually directly affect change, that met at a college of some kind. This wouldn't have been strange out-of-hand, had it not been for the fact that I was sitting between Carolyn Parrish and Stephen Harper. We were listening to presentations / talking / voting on some education funding-related issue, and finished for the day. That evening, I was at a Subway on a rooftop while an energy drink parade happened on the street below – people were walking around handing out free stickers and drinks, there were banners, weird floats and big billboards. And then George W. Bush walked in. I approached him.
We had a smoke and talked. About how nobody in the world liked him, and why. About what he thought of the world and what he said he thought of the world. About his job, and the choices he had to make. About how so much happened around him that all he could ever hope to see was his own interests and the horde of lobbyists around him.He asked if I wanted to fight him, but he seemed like a decent guy in the end, so I passed.
"It's ok, you'll only be president for a couple more years."
And then I woke up.
I think I need to sleep more.

There's a part of me that wants to say 'and that's Tim, without the mind altering things!'
I need to remember my dreams more often.
