An Internal Monologue

Go see "The House of Atreus" now. Then come see it with me again on the 8th. It was fabulous in so many ways. And of course, I had to find one of the actors incredibly obsessively attractive. And then I found out he's almost exactly my age and has played the same role as I have in several musicals. Sigh... (I'm so dreamy. I'd fuck me.)

Seriously though, come see it on October 8th. Tell me, and I'll arrange for tickets. It's fucking astounding.

As if that wasn't cool enough, Travis and I decided to stop for something to eat after the show, at East Is East. Upon getting there, we were informed that there was a fundraser for children affected by war upstairs in the Chai Gallery, and that it was by donation. We walked up stairs, and were greeted warmly by the manager with Organic Wine, Chai, and a massive buffet of EVERYTHING on the Chai Gallery menu (except for the evil goddamn prawns).

I am so happy with today. It not only made me incredibly content with my theatre involvement (though I still swear I'll be doing acting some day), but also just life in general.

Woot!

PS: UBC offers a BA in Theatre, as opposed to a BFA Production and Design / BFA Acting. That may well be exactly what I'm looking for.
