Another Late Night
I got a lot of homework done today, despite my best efforts (sleeping in, getting 2 new computer games, making a bunch of food, having a rehearsal, hanging out with friends). Just getting ready to run off and nap before class, I figured I'd try not to dampen my healthy blogging appetite of the week. Now, things I wish to comment on:
I've been reading and re-reading a lot of webcomics recently. BOASAS and DTE are my favourites right now. That's probably why I'm referring to them by their acronyms.
Black and White 2 is a really cool game. All the "neat" of the original, with about 3 years of attention paid to playability, prettiness, and function. It also seems to wantonly steal some of my favourite video game music (from Heroes 3/4), so I'm becoming attached to it.
VAST is getting a lot of play on my computer. I have all 3 albums, and I'm relatively certain I now know what it would sound like if the Tea Party and Type O Negative had a misanthropic teenage son.
I was thinking, at the beginning of the week, that I might end up getting involved with R&G. Now I'm starting to think it may be a bad idea. I have 2 evenings a week to do things other than school or rehearsal. If I got involved in R&G, I would have none. Aside from a pretty surefire impact in me getting my homework done and maybe sleeping or having a life, I'm probably going to decline.
Nobilis is on Saturday, and I'm not completely unprepared. This is a very good feeling. I wish for Saturday evening so I can assess how it went.
Theatre of the week: Studio 58/Rumble Theatre presents "San Diego" at Langara. I'm going on Sunday at 3pm. Cheap. Let me know if you want to accompany.
