Brave New World
84 is a significant number for me. It's my lucky number, my favourite number, and the year I was born. This is my 84th blog entry, and although I can't think of anything terribly profound to say about it, it's a milestone that is marked well by the journey I'm about to embark on.
I'm just finishing my preparations to leave for Spring Mysteries. Excitement mingles with solemnity, anticipation with concern. It is, almost undoubtedly, the single central focus of my spiritual year. As usual, I'm taking risks that I haven't taken before, and stepping out into a different world, wearing the mask of a being who I've been experiencing the better part of the past 4 months. I can't wait to see what will happen.
My camera went in for service yesterday, but that's alright, because I'm not supposed to take pictures onsite. Maybe I'll sneak a few on Travis' camera.
Those of you that are going, I will see you there on Thursday. For the rest of you, I'll be back in reality on Monday night, in time for Phat Conductor at the Plaza of Nations.
