Finally emerging from sickness...I haven't been that sick for that long in ...as long as I can remember. Nothing fell apart terribly while I was sick, which is good, and I even managed to show up to work with nothing more or less than an annoying cough and residual chills.
Work is neat. Office type jobs are, I must confess, a bit of a novelty to me. It's like retail without the snotty customers and having to stand all day. I did what amounted to arts and crafts today after I got the tour and rather gigantic info package to work through. The biggest concern, it would seem, is keeping the plants, which for various reasons are very important, from dying. Nifty gigantic flatscreens, snazzy programs and big windows. I likes.
Also, what's with having your first day not be terrifying? haha
